Strong to severe storms rumbled through the area on Wednesday, as expected, but the threat will draw to an end for everyone by the evening hours. Cooler weather will settle in for Thursday and Friday with highs in the 50s and 60s and plenty of sunshine across the Valley. For the weekend, clouds will be increasing on Saturday with some isolated showers possible, and then a much better coverage of rain by Sunday. Temperatures will stay in the upper 50s and low 60s due to clouds and rain over the weekend. Next week, our weather pattern remains fairly unsettled with chances for rain each day through Thursday - with the possibility that thunderstorms could be involved as well. It looks as though we are on track for another cool-down by next Friday, so we'll keep an eye on things for you!
